| Our History |
The history of our factory begins after the Second World War in 1948 , when Massimo’s father , Lodovico , commonly nicknamed Piero , starts his activity in Stra ( Venice ) in the wonderful Riviera del Brenta .
He becomes a cabinet -maker in a historic furniture factory in Padua .
The contribution of his wife Maria ,an appreciate dressmaker ,was essential for the birth of the activity. She cooperated in the fabrics section of the
furniture ,curtains, drapes, bed covers.
Also at the time , the factory spirit was to offer the all-inclusive
service to make a house completely furnished.
His “ studio” suddenly became well known and highly regarded for peculiar and careful realizations, which were frequently supported by some important architects .
Later , Lodovico’s brother Giovanni joined the running of the factory and they together won some prizes in professional events.
In 1980, Massimo Griggio became the activity manager, changed the style and gave new energy to the factory.
In 1985 he opened a show room in Ponte di Brenta ( Padua ) where he exhibited platform beds , textile beds, briar root wood furniture, lamellar
wood kitchens and other innovative products.
Every furnishing proposal has always been supported by a handmade layout service and computer-aided design which, in the past was unusual and futuristic.
In 1986 there was the factory relocation to a new productive unit in
the Industrial Estate of Peraga , where we still use computerized machinery along with traditional evergreen craft machines.
Team spirit,internal clever collaborators and many externals collaborators allow us vanguard activity in the design developement of forms and finishings.
A two generation experience, consulting and photorealistic design service,
important architects and international traders are our pride,especially in this difficult phase of the world economy.
